The most vibrant mall in General Santos City, Robinsons Place Gensan, opened its doors to bloggers and allowed us to take snapshots of what’s inside the mall.
It is a two story mall built along Jose Catolico Avenue, in Lagao, Gensan. It is the biggest Robinsons Mall in gensan as of posting time.
Day 2 of the SOCCSKSARGEN Safari started with a 20 minute ride to Dolores Farm and Resort were we will have breakfast. The place was a quiet sanctuary and a breakaway from the city life.

If you ask me for a place that offers great food at reasonable prices, I would only give you one answer… Piyesta KTV and Resto Bar.
The place is along the stretch of establishments at Robinsons Place Gensan. But every night, you’ll only see one place that’s full of customers and some even falling in line to get their seats – only in Piyesta.
A business that just started from a barbecue stand is now Gensan’s biggest and known catering services, Arnevel Restaurant and Catering Services.
It all started when Nitz Velasquez decided to venture into her first business in 1984– a small snack house and selling barbeque – with a capital of P3,000.

Our hotel was near our first stop… Pacman’s Sport’s Bar…. yes, the pound for pound king’s very own!
According to the locals, this is where you would normally catch Manny Pacquiao if not in their home or in the Gym. And he really came by during the latter part of the evening (we saw him on our way back to the hotel) with is friends and billiard mates.

The First SOCCSKSARGEN Safari has started!
After having a hearty lunch at Ranchero Grill in Davao, we started the adventure with a 3 hour tip non-stop ride to General Santos city via Yellow Bus Line (Davao-Gensan = P240.00 *as of posting time).
