Baguio: City Travel Hotel

I wanna go back here!

City Travel; Hotel is one of those lodging places near Burnham Park.

Although they are quite expensive, I’m sure those with sufficient budget will find this a good place to stay. Oh, this place is Blogger Friendly.. they have Free Wi-Fi.

They have nice comfortable rooms.

You can choose which room to occupy, the one facing Burnham Park or the one facing the subdivision. The first is priced higher – by P400.00-P500.00 than the latter. That’s the price you have to pay for getting a better view. =p

The doors have a high level of security which uses a key card.

Unfortunately, the windows are open! Yes they don’t have locks. That’s why i always leave my laptop at the front desk. =p

Here are their rates (as of January 2008):

  • Standard – P2,400 – max 2 pax
  • Deluxe – P2,800 – max 2 pax (these are the rooms facing Burnham Park)
  • Executive suite – P4,500 – max 3 pax
  • Family Suite – P4,900 – max 6 pax
  • Family Suite Jr. – P3,500 – max 3 pax
  • Presidential Suite – P6,000 – max 3 pax

Extra Person – P300.00 per person

Note: MAX = maximum, PAX = Persons

But, during off-season, they offer discounts. Which they did to us. We got the standard room for less than 30% of the price!

Their Sinigang na Baboy was also delicious!

Oh one more thing, this hotel has the nicest, sweetest, and kindest staffs in Baguio! They really treat you as guests. Specially Ms. Jhaz at the front desk. Also the night shift front desk guy. They were great! Hats off to them!

We inquired with other hotels and we felt that we are being snubbed or not entertained nicely. It was like “we don’t have rooms!”

Try City Travel Hotel and you’ll see what I mean. They are located at Kisad Road. Tel #: (074) 445.0456 / 447.0480. Fax #: (074) 445.0456 . Mobile: +639175065067. Email: citytravelhotel@yahoo.com.
