You’ll need to dedicate one day of your tour of Bohol if you plan to go to Sagbayan Peak. Its a private resort and recreation area about that’s quite far from the usual places and close tourist spots in Bohol.

But your 1.5 to 2 hour ride going here from the City will be worth it.

The Our Lady of Assumption Church, also known as Dauis Church is one of the most notable churches in Bohol. It is located not far from the bridge that connects Panglao with Bohol.

The Virgin of the Assumption is the town’s patron saint is said to provide for the town’s people and believed to possess miraculous powers.

Hinagdanan cave is one of the major attractions in Bohol. Though it is not the only cave that can be found here, its the most famous for its beautiful rock formations.

The cave has large stalactites and stalagmites, bats, and a lagoon.

Not far from Balut Island is another great place to visit near Panglao Island in Bohol. An oddly shaped island called Virgin Island. I’m not sure if the shape has something to do with its name.

Or maybe its still “un touched” that’s why until now, it has retained its beauty. White sand, and just a couple of trees and grass..

Depending on how fast you go from one place to another is the chance for you to got to Balut Island and Virgin Island. So I suggest you don’t stay too long at Balicasag Island to go diving or snorkeling or else, you’ll miss this…
Pure white sand in the middle of the sea. It’s like a vanishing island as it only appears during a certain time of the day and submerges in the Bohol sea when the high tide comes in.
