SOCCSKSARGEN Safari Day 1

The First SOCCSKSARGEN Safari has started!

After having a hearty lunch at Ranchero Grill in Davao, we started the adventure with a 3 hour tip non-stop ride to General Santos city via Yellow Bus Line (Davao-Gensan = P240.00 *as of posting time).

Upon our arrival, we were fetched by the Van provided by the outgoing Mayor of Gensan and incoming South Cotabato Congressman, the Honorable Jun Acharon and warmly greeted by our host, two of GenSan’s best, Orman and Avel Manansala.

And the welcoming celebration started inside the pound for pound king, Manny Pacquiao, Pacman’s Resto Bar. We were treated with refreshments and snacks. Food here was great and matched the greatness of the place.

Dinner was by the poolside courtesy of La Jardin Arnevel and Arnevel catering Services. With around 10 viands at the buffet table, it enormously satisfied not only the taste buds but also tummies – including the Lechon which had the taste of the famous cebu lechon.

The fun and excitement of Day 1 of the SOCCSKSARGEN Safari didn’t end there. Our hosts took us to PIYESTA KTV and Resto Bar were we were served with their new offerings, the Gayuma and Jell-o-Shot.

By 12 in the evening, we were all ready to call it a night and tuck ourselves warmly on our comfortable beds inside the beautiful and luxurious rooms of Ice Castle Experience.
