Bohol Escapade: Mag-aso Falls

The Mag-aso Falls was named after the Bario where its at, Mag-aso. Its in the town of Antequera. Its 30 to 45 minutes away from the city but is still being visited by a lot of tourists for its beauty and relaxing ambiance.

But before anyone can set foot on the falls and bathe in its green waters, you first need to pass 197 steps down the falls.

Bohol Escapade: Punta Cruz Watch Tower

The Watch tower at Punta Cruz is famous not for its height or location.. but for its shape. If I’m not mistaken, Its the only watch tower in Bohol that was built in a triangular shape.

Punta Cruz watchtower was erected in the year 1796 by the Spaniards and was dedicated to SaintVincent Ferrer, Maribojoc’s patron saint.

Bohol Escapade: Sagbayan Peak

You’ll need to dedicate one day of your tour of Bohol if you plan to go to Sagbayan Peak. Its a private resort and recreation area about that’s quite far from the usual places and close tourist spots in Bohol.

But your 1.5 to 2 hour ride going here from the City will be worth it.

Bohol Escapade: Dauis Church

The Our Lady of Assumption Church, also known as Dauis Church is one of the most notable churches in Bohol. It is located not far from the bridge that connects Panglao with Bohol.

The Virgin of the Assumption is the town’s patron saint is said to provide for the town’s people and believed to possess miraculous powers.
