Hinagdanan cave is one of the major attractions in Bohol. Though it is not the only cave that can be found here, its the most famous for its beautiful rock formations.
The cave has large stalactites and stalagmites, bats, and a lagoon.

Not far from Balut Island is another great place to visit near Panglao Island in Bohol. An oddly shaped island called Virgin Island. I’m not sure if the shape has something to do with its name.
Satellite view of Virgin island from Google maps
Or maybe its still “un touched” that’s why until now, it has retained its beauty. White sand, and just a couple of trees and grass..

Depending on how fast you go from one place to another is the chance for you to got to Balut Island and Virgin Island. So I suggest you don’t stay too long at Balicasag Island to go diving or snorkeling or else, you’ll miss this…
Pure white sand in the middle of the sea. It’s like a vanishing island as it only appears during a certain time of the day and submerges in the Bohol sea when the high tide comes in.

It wasn’t part of the itinerary but our Boatman offered if we wanted to see a “Pawikan” (turtle). And of course I said yes! And so he took as to this small “kubo” (hut) in the middle of the vast waters of Bohol.
The first thing I said was, were is the Pawikan? Then the boatman asked the owner of the pawikan to show it to us.
