Enchanted Kingdom is a theme park in Luzon. It is 20 minutes away from metro Manila.
Let me share with you my enchanted day at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Firs, How i got to EK…
I took the shuttle from Makati to Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The shuttle pick up point is beside Park Square 1 beside this resto which i forgot the name.

Before going to EK, you should first check the schedule on their website or call them first. And i suggest you go to EK in the morning… So it’s going to be a whole day of fun!
Entry to EK….
At the entrance, make sure you read the park bulletins. So that you know what time you favorite ride or attraction will open.
There are different prices for the package that you want. I mean, you can choose of either going for the ride all you can ticket or just for specific rides. I say you go for the ride all you can and try all the rides!
Grab a hold of the EK map so you won’t get lost… EK is divided in 7 areas: Victoria Park, Portabello, Brooklyn Place, Spaceport, Jungle outpost, Midway Boardwalk, and Boulderville.
I suggest that you ride the ‘wet rides” – Jungle log jam and Rio Grande Rapids last. So that it won’t spoil you morning.
The Biggest ride (in terms of size) in enchated kingdom is the Wheel of Fate. Riding this biggie will let you see and enjoy the view of the whole theme park and beyond….
Here’s what you’ll see on top of the mega wheel…
One of the freakiest and scariest rides in EK is the Anchors away… When you ride it, its like it is pulling all your insides. Its like you’ll fall down specially when you are seated on the last row..
The secret of conquering Anchors Away is to “let go” and scream!!!!!!
The next ride is the most feared ride of them all… Some people don’t imagine riding this.. some even say “i think i’ll die now” by just looking at it! It is the SPACE SHUTTLE!
I must admit.. the first time i went to EK, i didn’t want to ride the Space Shuttle. But on my third time in Ek with firends, all of us tried it.. even ladies… and that’s when i found out that the Space Shuttle is a fun ride!
If you wana experience “wet and wild”.. then the Rio Grande Rapids is the ride for you! Just look at the pic below to see what i mean….
You’ll get wet more here than in the Jungle log Jam…
There are other rides in Ek that you should all experience…
Dodgem, Roller Skater,Up, Up & Away, Bump N’ Splash, Grand Carousel, Flying Fiesta, Swan Lake. If you think that its only for grown ups.. your wrong.. kids will also enjoy rides in Boulderville Express, Bumbling Boulders, Air Pterodactyl, Stone Eggs, Dinosoarus.
But EK is not all about rides… they have the Rialto..
Brooklyn’s motion simulator theater which combines sight, sound and movement. Here, one does not merely watch a movie – one is actually in the movie! Catch the Funhouse Express, the electrifying simulator film from Iwerks which takes us through the twists and turns inside a carnival’s funhouse.
They also have the “Pirates 4D” film theater..
Your whole family will be jumping out of your seats as you see, hear, and feel the action from this swashbuckling 4D film, guaranteed to take you to an adventure in a new dimension!
The cakes in EK looks yummy.. but I didn’t like any of them.
They also now have Paintball and Kart Trak – kart racing! Speaking of cars.. there’s also bumper city….
Depending on your ticket / entrance fee, you will be able to ride all of the above mentioned again and again and again until you get exhausted! ahahahhaha
TIPS
- Check the EK web site first before going there.
- If possible, plan your visit to EK when there’s a promo and/or and event.
- Wear t-shirt and shorts. Yes you can wear slippers too.
- Bring extra shirts (t-shirt and shorts), specially when you plan of taking a ride at RIO GRANDE RAPIDS. Getting wet at Jungle log Jam is still manageable.
- Never open your mouth when you’re watching PIRATES 4D
- TRY all rides. Conquer your fear!!!
There are always tour packages that you can avail so always visit EK’s website first before going there…
